A Brief History

Desert Stream Christian Fellowship (DSCF) was established in 1995 as a small group based charismatic church, targeting young people and young families. Of particular interest to us were those who had attended church as a child but for one reason or another, no longer participated in a faith community. We felt a strong call from the Lord to reach those for whom the church had disappeared off their radar screen and to reestablish a link between them and Christ and His church. To that end, from its inception, Desert Stream took every tradition and practice of the church and chose to only use those that would be relevant to our mission.

DSCF Today

Desert Stream is a vibrant group of Christians, eager to make a lasting impact on their city and the world. Our Sunday service is at 10 a.m. It includes a lively mix of passionate, contemporary worship, personal testimonies and relevant preaching. The week is full with prayer meetings, home groups, courses and powerful meetings for Junior and Senior High, as well as young adults. Our desire, with everything we do, is to see people grow closer to Jesus and for them to encourage others to do likewise.
