Purpose
As Christians, we believe that we exist, individually and corporately, first and foremost, as objects of God’s love, and then to love God and to enjoy Him forever. God purchased us by the sacrifice of His Son, so that we might live in relationship with Him. In fact, the Bible declares that God’s desire is that the whole world would come to know Him in this same manner.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
2 Peter 3:9
As His people, we share the heart of God. We want to lead others into this same relationship, however we cannot lead anyone where we have not been ourselves: Doing flows out of Being. Our labour as individuals and as a church flows from our relationship with Him as His people.

Desert Stream is a community of believers, made victorious through the WORD, liberated in WORSHIP, discovering WHOLENESS in Christ. Our desire is to teach the WORD of God with simplicity, so that it may be applied to everyday lives in a practical and effective manner; to WORSHIP with intensity, bringing joy and pleasure to the Father; and to walk in WHOLENESS, seeing every believer healed and mature, making a mark on the world that cannot be erased.
